Powersports Transmission Fluid

Mixing different AMSOIL transmission fluids together and mixing AMSOIL transmission fluid with other brand's fluids is not recommended. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed, and mixing oils together can degrade the performance of both lubricants.

It's recommended for most AMSOIL transmission fluids that you follow the OEM recommended drain interval for normal use and double the manufacturer recommended severe service drain interval. AMSOIL's V-Twin transmission fluid is recommended for up to 20,000 or one year.

AMSOIL is one of the best transmission fluids on the market and has been thoroughly tested in real-world applications. Even after a 180,000-mile severe-service test, AMSOIL Signature Series ATF exhibited nearly identical friction properties as brand new fluid.

Some AMSOIL transmission fluids are recommended for applications that require the Dexron III specification. AMSOIL OE Multi-Vehicle ATF and Signature Series ATF cover Dexron II and III applications. AMSOIL OE Fuel-Efficient ATF covers GM Dexron VI applications and AMSOIL Signature Series Fuel-Efficient Synthetic ATF is backward compatible and replaces DEXRON III fluids in older GM automatic transmissions. (DEXRON VI specification supersedes the obsolete DEXRON III in GM vehicles).
