AMSOIL DOMINATOR - Performance Testing

In this video, AMSOIL built, tested, and tore down a 1,000 HP LS Engine running AMSOIL DOMINATOR 15W-50.

AMSOIL put their LS engine & DOMINATOR racing oil to the test by simulating drag-strip passes, autocross, and daily driving. AMSOIL simulated 40 drag racing passes, about 8 hours of simulated autocross racing, and 15 hours of simulated daily driving, including street driving, highway, and freeway.

DOMINATOR has extra zinc and phosphorous additives, which help keeps the valvetrain lubricated, especially in engines like the LS that use a push rod to rocker arm interface. During the tear down, you can see how all the engine components faired during the torture test, showing all the engine parts were fine, show signs of very minimal wear, and were ready for re-assembly to be used again.
